Pilot terms

The rules for using RobovidAI during its free private pilot. By using the API, you agree to these terms.

Last updated:

At a glance

The pilot is free and access is granted on request. Keep your API key private, review each video before publishing and download it within 7 days of completion.

Who provides the service

Mogwai Limited. Registered in England and Wales, company number 17542846. Registered office: Office 7, 35-37 Ludgate Hill, London EC4M 7JN, United Kingdom. Contact: contact@robovid.ai.

The pilot is free of charge. It is open to businesses and to individuals; if you use it as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Access and API keys

  • Access is granted by hand, after a request through the pilot form.
  • Keep your API key secret. You are responsible for what is done with it; tell us at once if it leaks, and we will revoke it.
  • Do not share your key or try to get around the rate and volume limits attached to it.

Your content

  • You must have the right to use the scripts and topics you submit. You keep your rights over them; we use them only to generate your videos and run the pilot, as described in the privacy policy.
  • Do not submit personal data about other people, passwords or confidential information.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to create or spread content that:

  • is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing or sexually explicit;
  • infringes someone else's rights, including copyright and trademarks;
  • impersonates a real person or presents the generated narration as their voice;
  • deceives people, for example spam, scams or disinformation.

Do not try to disrupt the service, probe its security or access another user's videos.

Generated videos

  • Scripts written from a topic are generated by AI and may contain errors. Check each video before you publish it; you are responsible for how you use it.
  • Stock footage comes from Pexels and remains subject to the Pexels license. Do not imply that people or brands shown in the footage endorse you or your product.
  • Where a platform asks you to label AI-generated content, do so.

Pilot limits

  • Texts are limited to 1000 characters, narrated in English with one voice.
  • Downloads expire 7 days after a video is ready. Save a copy before then; expired downloads are no longer available through the API.
  • The service may be unavailable, change or lose unfinished jobs. It is not suited to deadlines you cannot miss.
  • The pilot can end. We tell pilot users by email beforehand where we can.

Stopping and suspension

You can stop at any time and ask us to delete your data. Mogwai Limited may suspend or revoke a key that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Liability

The pilot is provided free of charge and as it is. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that the law does not allow to be limited. If you use the service for business, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, data or business opportunity.

Changes and contact

We tell pilot users by email before a significant change to these terms. Questions: contact@robovid.ai.

Contact support

Email contact@robovid.ai. For a technical issue, include the video ID, any error code and what you were trying to do. Never send your API key or passwords.

For a privacy request, describe the data or request concerned so we can help you locate it.
