We use your requests and content to run the pilot and generate videos. Downloads expire after 7 days. You can contact us to ask about your data or exercise your rights.
Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is:
Mogwai Limited. Registered in England and Wales, company number 17542846. Registered office: Office 7, 35-37 Ludgate Hill, London EC4M 7JN, United Kingdom. Contact: contact@robovid.ai.
What we collect
- Pilot requests: what you enter in the request form, such as your email address and your use case.
- API use: the scripts and topics you submit, the scripts we generate from topics, the videos, intermediate files (such as narration and captions) and technical details (status, duration, timestamps), linked to the access scope associated with your API key.
- Emails: the messages you send to contact@robovid.ai.
- Technical data: server logs and error reports needed to run and secure the service.
The service does not need personal data in your scripts or topics. Do not submit information about other people, passwords or confidential content.
Why we use it
- To review pilot requests and reply to you: steps taken at your request before you join the pilot, and our legitimate interest in running it.
- To generate your videos and deliver them: performance of the pilot terms.
- To keep the service secure and working (logs, error reports, backups, abuse prevention): our legitimate interests.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who receives it
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the servers that run the site, the API and video generation.
- Cloudflare (R2) stores video files, intermediate generation files and database backups when cloud storage is enabled.
- Anthropic receives the topic you submit, to write the script, when you use the topic workflow.
- ElevenLabs receives the script, to produce the narration.
- Pexels receives search keywords derived from the script, to select stock footage.
- Sentry receives technical error reports when error monitoring is enabled. We filter scripts, topics and API keys before sending reports.
- tally.so hosts the pilot request form and processes the information you submit there.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Write to contact@robovid.ai for details of the safeguards that apply.
How long we keep it
- Downloads expire 7 days after a video is ready. Video and intermediate files are scheduled for deletion once a job has been ready or failed for 7 days; removal runs periodically.
- Database backups are replaced on a rolling basis and deleted after 14 days.
- Pilot requests, scripts, topics, video details, emails, logs and error reports are kept until six months after the end of the pilot at the latest, or deleted sooner on request.
Expiry of a download does not delete its database record, including submitted scripts and topics. These records follow the retention period above. Deleted records may remain in existing backups until those backups expire.
Your rights
You can ask Mogwai Limited for access to your data, its correction or deletion, a copy in a portable format, or to restrict its use, where those rights apply. Write to contact@robovid.ai. We normally respond within one month. If we need to verify your identity or extend the response period as permitted by law, we will explain why.
Your right to object: you can object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Tell us which processing concerns you and we will assess your request.
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Cookies
This site does not use cookies for sign-in or advertising. Site analytics is currently disabled.
The pilot request form is hosted separately on tally.so. Review the privacy and cookie information shown there before submitting your request.
Changes
We update this page when what we collect or who receives it changes, and we notify pilot users by email of any significant change.
Contact support
Email contact@robovid.ai. For a technical issue, include the video ID, any error code and what you were trying to do. Never send your API key or passwords.
